Twelve South’s Find My-compatible charger is on sale starting at just $49

by | Feb 20, 2025

Both the 50W and the 120W PlugBug are on sale right now.

Twelve South’s PlugBug is a compact USB-C wall charger that also happens to function as a location tracker, making it a particularly useful gadget if you prefer to pack light while traveling or commuting. And right now, you can buy the space-saving device for its best price to date at Amazon, with the 50W configuration going for $49 ($21 off) and the 120W variant retailing for a cool $79.35 ($41 off).

Unlike your average wall charger, both versions of the PlugBug can tap into Apple’s robust Find My network, letting you easily keep tabs on the charger via your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. That means you can keep tabs on whatever bag you’ve stowed it in, too, along with any gadget you intend to charge with it. They also beep to help you locate them faster, and can alert you should you ever forget them at home or the office.

As for connectivity, each GaN-powered PlugBug features multiple USB-C inputs, saving you from having to carry multiple chargers while on the go. The 50W PlugBug offers a pair of side-by-side USB-C ports for charging a phone and tablet simultaneously — or slow-charging a laptop — while the 120W variant boasts four, making it better suited for charging a multitude of smaller devices or beefier electronics.

Newer models like the C4 and C5 may offer a brighter panel and a faster 144Hz refresh rate, but you’re not missing out on much by opting for the last-gen model. LG’s C3 has excellent specs for the price, including a stunning OLED display with deep blacks, vivid color, and a speedy 120Hz refresh rate. It also sports four HDMI ports, along with support for Dolby Vision, HDR10 Plus, and Dolby Atmos.
  • You can pick up a copy of Dragon’s Dogma II for the PlayStation 5 at Amazon or Target for $39.99 ($6 off), which matches the game’s best price to date. The long-awaited action RPG doesn’t really reinvent the formula established by the original — it’s still set in a medieval fantasy world teeming with secrets to discover and adorable, human-like pawns — but it does build upon it with a great narrative and a truly excellent combat system.
